I (she/her) enjoy working with young adults and individuals in college who may be experiencing life transitions related to living on their own for the first time, starting college, or starting a new career. Additionally, I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ individuals with the intent of creating an affirming and supportive space to explore your reason for seeking therapy, including exploring topics related to sexuality and gender. I also work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I approach therapy with a collaborative, client-centered lens meaning I am here to listen to and discuss whatever is important to you.

Education and Credentials

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology- The Ohio State University 2020
  • Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology- Adler University 2022

What do you like to do when you are not working? What do you do for fun?

I enjoy going for walks in the city with my dogs, Magnus and Lila. Being new to Chicago as of 2021, we particularly enjoy walking along the Riverwalk and lakefront. When not spending time out in the city, I like to watch movies and TV, especially anything Marvel. I also have a very eclectic taste in music and enjoy listening to old favorites (Fleetwood Mac and Billy Joel) and discovering new ones (Greta Van Fleet and Halsey).

What are you excited about? What is your passion? What do you want to learn more about?

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am very passionate about LGBTQ+ issues and educating myself on various topics related to gender and sexuality. I also strive to educate myself on various social justice issues related to racism, ableism, Indigenous sovereignty, and others. Additionally, I enjoy learning about other cultures and their beliefs and practices.

What do you like about being a therapist?

I like being able to provide a space for people to share whatever is on their mind. I enjoy providing an outsider’s perspective to help clients identify different solutions to problems they may be facing. I also appreciate being able to provide an accepting space for LGBTQ+ clients to be their authentic selves.

What’s your “go to” creative or restorative outlet?

My biggest restorative outlet is taking my dogs for walks around the city, as well as spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy puzzles and decorating for various holidays, especially Halloween.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would love to travel to England again. I previously visited London in 2016 and would love to be able to explore more of the country, as well as the rest of the UK. I would love to travel around Europe and also visit Iceland.
