Rewriting the Self After Loss: Narrative Therapy for Grief and
Personality Reconstruction
Event Date: Friday, September 12, 2025
Loss often disrupts a person’s sense of identity and meaning. Rewriting the Self After Loss: Narrative Therapy for Grief and Personality Reconstruction is an in-person training designed to teach clinicians how narrative therapy can be used to support clients in reconstructing meaning and self-understanding after loss. Dr. Paul M Martin will share clinical examples and interactive techniques for helping clients re-author their stories after loss. Participants will also explore how personality differences can shape the grieving process and impact risk for complicated bereavement. Participants will receive 3 CEs.
Space is limited to 18 participants.
